It is not a dating, therapy, or medical service — and should never replace professional mental health care or crisis support.

2. Eligibility

To use ChatBuddy, you must:

• Be 18 years or older

• Agree to provide accurate information during signup

• Not have been banned previously for violating our policies
  

We reserve the right to deny access or suspend any account for misuse or policy violations.

3. Membership & Subscriptions

ChatBuddy offers membership tiers:

• Basic: Free limited access

• Premium: Monthly or quarterly subscription

• VIP: Full access, exclusive features, and personal match support

Subscription Terms:

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the next billing date.

• You can manage or cancel anytime in your account settings.

• Payment is securely processed by our third-party partners (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)

• Refunds follow our refund policy below.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use ChatBuddy only for friendly, respectful, and lawful communication.

• Never engage in harassment, explicit content, hate speech, or scams.

• Refrain from sharing personal contact information or financial requests within chats.

• Respect others’ privacy and consent.

Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

5. Messaging and Moderation

• Chats are private and encrypted, but may be reviewed if reported for abuse or safety concerns.

• ChatBuddy uses moderation tools and human review to maintain safety

• We may suspend or restrict accounts found in breach of conduct standards.

6. Identity Verification

We may require photo or ID verification to confirm authenticity.
Verified users receive a badge, improving trust and connection quality.
All verification data is encrypted and deleted after verification completion

7. Disclaimers

• ChatBuddy is a companionship and emotional-support platform, not a professional counseling or matchmaking service.

• We make no guarantees of compatibility, friendship outcomes, or emotional results.

• All chats and relationships are voluntary and at the user’s discretion.

We are not liable for user behavior outside our platform

8. Limitation of Liability

ChatBuddy and its affiliates are not liable for:

• Damages arising from user interactions, messages, or conduct.

• Loss of data, emotional distress, or indirect consequences of chat communications.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to use our services in the past 6 months.

9. Intellectual Property

All ChatBuddy trademarks, designs, content, and brand assets are owned by chatmebuddy.com.
Users may not copy, distribute, or use our brand or materials without written permission.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violating our policies

• Abusive behavior or fraudulent activit

• Misuse of personal information or impersonation

You may delete your account anytime by contacting support@chatmebuddy.com.
Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 14 business days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction or the country where ChatBuddy operates its primary business entity.
