Refunds policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

We strive for complete satisfaction, but we understand that situations may arise where you need a refund.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are granted only if:

  • You experience a technical issue preventing access to paid chats or subscription features.

  • You accidentally purchased the same subscription twice.

  • You did not receive the service as described.

Requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase

2. Non-Refundable Cases

We do not issue refunds for:

  • Completed or partially used chat sessions

  • User dissatisfaction based on personal expectations

  • Account suspensions due to policy violations

3. Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • For recurring subscriptions, you must cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid future charges.

Your safety is our highest priority.

We are committed to maintaining a secure, positive, and emotionally safe community for all users.

1. Respect & Consent

  • Be kind, empathetic, and respectful in all conversations.

  • Do not pressure, flirt excessively, or manipulate other users

  • Consent must be clear and continuous in all types of conversations.

2. Prohibited Behavior

You must not:

  • Engage in hate speech, harassment, threats, or abuse.

  • Share explicit or sexually suggestive content.

  • Request or share financial assistance, donations, or personal contact details.

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

3. Reporting & Blocking

  • You can block or report users anytime for inappropriate behavior.

  • Reports are reviewed within 24–48 hours by our safety team

  • Repeat offenders will be permanently removed.

4. Privacy Controls

  • You control who can message or view your profile.

  • You may delete chat history or account data anytime

  • Your identity and conversations remain confidential and secure.

5. Crisis or Emergency Support

ChatBuddy is not a crisis helpline.
If you are in distress or need immediate assistance, please contact your local emergency number or a mental health helpline.

6. Platform Integrity

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend accounts for suspicious, harmful, or fraudulent activity.

  • Use automated tools to detect unsafe or manipulative behavior.

  • Cooperate with law enforcement if legally required.
